Brazilian film director and composer Rodrigo Mazutti has announced that he is currently in the pre-production phase of the short film Chronophage, a cinematic project inspired by his song of the same name. The film explores themes of memory, time, and the desire to revisit childhood experiences.

The story of Chronophage is based on a song that portrays a character asking a demon to send him back in time, reflecting on nostalgia and the emotional weight of reliving the past. Mazutti, who will also portray the main character in the film, aims to translate the song’s symbolic narrative into a visual and dramatic form.

Rodrigo Mazutti is a Brazilian filmmaker known for directing the short films Aemula (2023), Verus (2024), and A Capela do Felipão (2025). His work combines elements of psychological drama, symbolic storytelling, and audiovisual experimentation. His filmography and professional credits are listed on IMDb and other public databases.

Currently in development, Chronophage is being prepared for production, with filming planned for a later stage. The project continues Mazutti’s exploration of introspective narratives and expands his work across both music and cinema.

Further details regarding production and release are expected to be announced in the coming months through official communication channels.
